David Beers founded The Tyee online magazine in Vancouver, British Columbia, and his award-winning journalism has been published widely. He is author of Blue Sky Dream: A Memoir of America’s Fall From Grace, which traces the rise of U.S. aerospace culture and Silicon Valley, where he grew up.
