Marco Rubio apparently has a cold and didn’t want to get his competitors sick—a mistake, as germs may be the only way to stop Donald Trump at this point—but this mesmerizing exchange between the three leading Republican presidential candidates is the perfect way to cap off an intensely strange night. (Kasich appears to have gotten some sort of “elbow bump.”) Call it their terrorist fist bump moment. We can only hope The New Yorker was paying attention.
