Far be it from me to stand in the way of Michael Steele's efforts to reboot his GOP chairmanship, but it can't be good that his exhortation to his fellow Republicans to stop looking backwards--"From this point forward, we will focus all of our energies on winning the future"--is already a bit dated. After all, Newt was using the same cliche four years ago.
