Apparently seeking to drum up European popular support for more NATO help in Afghanistan, the defense secretary gives the FT an interview. He estimates Iran could be up to three years away from a bomb (but maybe less)--which he called enough time to give diplomacy a try--and doesn't expect that Israel will take action this year.
