"no Longer A Genocide Situation"

the Administration appears to have reversed itself and decided that genocide is not happening in Darfur. Quoted in the Georgetown Voice, Natsios told a student group that: "The ongoing crisis in Darfur is no longer a genocide situation" but that "genocide had previously occurred in Darfur." President Bush conspicuously failed to use the term "genocide" when speaking of Darfur in his latest State of the Union address. Such language games shock the conscience, especially given recent escalating attacks on civilians and aid workers.
