Ben Carson called out the entire Republican field—himself included—for knowing nothing about military issues.

Carson is not a foreign policy expert. His own advisers told The New York Times as much. It is known.

So during Saturday night’s debate, when asked to comment on whether he would support airstrikes in Libya to combat ISIS, Carson unleashed a new scorched earth strategy by dragging the entire Republican field down to his very, very low level.

“The fact of the matter is, none of us up here is a military expert. We sometimes act like we are, but we’re not.” True that.
