Yesterday, the singer/actress posted an Instagram photo of a painting of Allen’s characteristically melancholy mug confirming her part in the filmmaker’s forthcoming Amazon series.
The project is not yet named but so far the cast is confirmed to include Cyrus, Allen, and Elaine May. It will be six half-hour episodes, and will be set in 1960s.
Apparently, Allen isn’t that excited about the project. “I have regretted every second since I said O.K,” Allen has said. But mostly what’s important here is that Cyrus’s nightstand is also decorated with a Barbie wearing a felt butter costume and that her room is apparently lit by an eerie blue light.
