The Daily Caller falsely accuses a BuzzFeed journalist of twerking.

Betsy Rothstein, well-known for gossiping about obscure topics, seems to have thought she pulled off a major scoop reporting last July that “BuzzFeed reporter Tracy Clayton has taken her risqué reporting to new depths today with a Vine video that shows her enthusiastically shaking her ass for justice behind a police car.” Rothstein also seemed to think that this twerking reflected some obscure problem of values at BuzzFeed, writing, “We can only imagine how much BuzzFeed Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith enjoys watching his reporter’s butt cheeks in action.”

But Rothstein apparently failed to do her due diligence as a journalist and confirm exactly whose bum was in motion in the video Clayton had tweeted. On Friday morning, Clayton took Rothstein to task on Twitter.
